Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 10, 2026

1. Introduction

Project Future Self ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding your information.

By using our website at projectfutureself.com, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Contact information: Your name and email address when you submit a form, take the assessment, or make a purchase
  • Assessment responses: Your answers to the Transformation Readiness Assessment questions and calculated scores
  • Career Navigator information: Your name, email address, phone number, résumé, answers you provide during analysis, generated report, and activity such as report views and booking clicks. Your résumé is uploaded for processing. We remove common personal identifiers from its text before sending that text for AI analysis.
  • Purchase information: Transaction details processed securely through Stripe — we do not store full payment card details
  • Usage data: Anonymous analytics data collected by Cloudflare (page views, device type, country) — this does not include personally identifiable information

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver products and services you have purchased
  • Send your assessment results and personalized PDF report
  • Analyze résumé text with common personal identifiers removed, create Career Navigator reports, and email a secure report link
  • Respond to your inquiries and support requests
  • Notify you of program updates or relevant offerings (you may opt out at any time)
  • Improve the site and user experience using aggregate analytics data

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the site. Each has its own privacy policy:

  • Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
  • Cloudflare — website hosting, security, and analytics (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy)
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (resend.com/legal/privacy-policy)
  • Google Sheets — internal data logging (policies.google.com/privacy)
  • Railway — generation of requested PDF reports (railway.com/legal/privacy)
  • Calendly — appointment scheduling when you choose to book a call (calendly.com/legal/privacy-notice)
  • OpenAI — analysis of anonymized résumé text and career information (openai.com/policies/privacy-policy)
  • Notion — blog content management (notion.so/Privacy-Policy)

5. Cookies

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which collects anonymous usage data without using tracking cookies or fingerprinting. We do not use advertising cookies or retargeting pixels. Your browsing data is not shared with ad networks.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose it was collected for — including any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. For Career Navigator, the uploaded résumé is deleted as soon as its text has been extracted, and intermediate analysis data are deleted from the active session after completion, cancellation, or timeout, with a maximum session lifetime of 24 hours. If an analysis fails, the version of your résumé text with personal identifiers already removed is kept for up to one hour so you can try again without uploading it again, and is then deleted. Your contact details are kept in the session only until your report email is sent and our lead record is updated, or until the one-hour retry window ends after a failed analysis. The generated report and its recovery link expire after 30 days. Anonymous technical records of each analysis (timings, error codes, and your accuracy rating, with no résumé content or contact details) are kept for 90 days to improve reliability. Contact details and status information may remain in our internal lead records. You may request deletion at any time.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
